SHIPPING - GENERAL

  • Aquabub delivers to New Zealand addresses only.
  • Aquabub uses Aramex Courier Services (formerly Fastway Couriers).
  • Please allow up to 3 working days for your order to arrive.
  • A flat rate of $30 shipping for larger items such as birth pools, kits, and bulk liners / covers will be added at checkout for all Nationwide orders.
  • A flat rate of $10 shipping for all other items will be added at the checkout for all Nationwide orders.
  • Free pick up is available for Gisborne customers.
  • Please note: Rural deliveries will be made to your door, however on return the customer will need to deliver the pool to their local Aramex / Fastway depot. Please contact Kate for more information.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS - GENERAL

In providing Aquabub with contact details and payment, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions:

  • All prices include GST.
  • Non-use of the hired birth pool / TENS machine is at the discretion of the customer. No refund will apply if the pool / TENS is not used.
  • Aquabub does not guarantee the effectiveness of using a birth pool / TENS machine for pain relief as individual births, and results, will vary.
  • Aquabub recommends that the customer checks the contents of the hire pack upon receiving it, to familiarise themselves with the birth pool / TENS machine and the instructions for use. 
  • The customer must advise Aquabub of any problems immediately so that they can be rectified as soon as possible.  No responsibility will be taken by Aquabub where the customer fails to do so.
  • The birth pool / TENS machine must be returned using the return postage provided by Aquabub, and with Aramex / Fastway Couriers. 
  • Aquabub does not take any responsibility for harm caused by misuse of our products, please read instructions carefully, and seek individual advice from your LMC / midwife / obstetrician / care provider.
  • The information contained in this website is not intended to replace professional medical advice.  Please seek advice from your LMC / midwife / obstetrician / care provider.
  • If you provide feedback it may be used to improve our service including placing your comments and name only on our website / Facebook page / Instagram page.  Your personal details will never be shared.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS - BIRTH POOL HIRE

In providing Aquabub with contact details and payment, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions:

The full hire price includes a $50 non refundable booking fee. Your order may be cancelled at any time before it is shipped / picked up. In this instance your $50 booking fee will be retained, and the remainder of the hire price will be refunded. No refunds will apply after orders have been shipped / picked up.

  • Do not over inflate the pool.  This causes undue stress on the seams and can cause them to split or burst.  The air pressure of your pool will increase once it is filled with water making the walls of the pool much more firm and sturdy.  
  • Do not use the pool on scratchy or rough surfaces such as rough concrete floors.  Please use a woolen blanket (or similar) between any rough surface and the pool to avoid punctures.
  • Do not use pointy or sharp objects in or around the pool such as: pens, pencils, children’s toys, pointy jewelry.
  • Do not add very hot water to an empty pool, or rest a hose against the edge of the pool when adding very hot water (it is best to rest the hose on a folded towel).
  • Do not use your pool without the provided liner.
  • Do not use the provided hoses to empty your pool after use. For hygiene reasons you must provide your own length of hose or an emptying kit to empty your pool after use.
  • Do not use a water heater or element in the pool.
  • Do not use / put / clean your pool outside.
  • Do not let children or animals play in / around the pool.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS - TENS HIRE

In providing Aquabub with contact details and payment, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions:

The full hire price of $70 includes a $20 non-refundable booking fee. Your order may be cancelled at any time before it is shipped / picked up. In this instance your $20 booking fee will be retained, and the remainder of the hire price will be refunded.  No refunds will apply after orders have been shipped / picked up.

  • Do not use your TENS in or around water.
  • Please return your TENS kit in it's entirety (lead wires, boost button, battery)
  • Do not return used electrode pads.
  • Please use the provided bubble wrap to protect the TENS machine during postage.

Aquabub takes no responsibility for harm caused by misuse of our products. Including but not limited to:

  • TENS should not be used before 37 weeks of pregnancy.
  • TENS should not be used by anyone with a demand type pace maker, or who has had a recent heart attack, or a serious / unstable heart condition, or by anyone who suffers from epilepsy.
  • TENS should not be used in the following areas: abdomen, anywhere on the head or face, across the front or side of the neck, genitals, directly over the spine (each side of the spine is perfectly safe), over broken skin or open wounds, over a malignant tumor, through the chest wall (i.e.: one electrode pad at the front of the chest and another on the back of the chest).
  • TENS should not be used while driving or operating heavy machinery.
  • TENS should not be used in or around water.
  • TENS can be used with caution in the following circumstances: around areas where metal implants are in place, around open wounds, on areas of numb skin or decreased sensation.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • If you have any concerns at all it is your responsibility to consult a health care professional prior to use.

    RETURNS - BIRTH POOLS

    When you have finished with your pool please return as soon as possible.

    When your pool is ready for pick up please email Kate on info@aquabub.co.nz to create a return post label.  Aramex / Fastway will pick up the pool from your address, or you can deliver the pool to your local Aramex / Fastway Courier depot for return to Aquabub.

    RETURNS - TENS MACHINES

    When you have finished with your TENS machine please return it as soon as possible.

    When you are ready to have your TENS picked up please email Kate on info@aquabub.co.nz to create a return post label.  Aramex / Fastway will pick up the pool from your address, or you can deliver the pool to your local Aramex / Fastway Courier depot for return to Aquabub.
